Jill has been a painter since she was 13, an exhibited artist since the 1980s, and spent over 30 years working in the arts/museum education arena. She has taught studio courses to college students, designed curricula for inner city kids and families, trained teachers and supervised staff in several leadership roles, including 5 years as Deputy Director of a mid-sized arts non-profit in NYC. After making a commitment to relocate her work life to the Hudson Valley, Jill was not expecting to work in the plumbing industry, but had been thinking about becoming a business owner for years. Jill, now sometimes known as "the voice of Dolphin Plumbing," is the backbone of the company creating best practices, building infrastructure and tracking outcomes; as she is determined to run an efficient operation. Jill enjoys working out of Dolphin's home office and loves serving and supporting the local community, as she is an active volunteer in several town organizations. In addition, she maintains an active practice in her home studio and has recently begun exhibiting in the Hudson Valley.
John’s innate ability was obvious early on, as he has always been mechanically-inclined. As a young man, he had jobs in various trades, but began specializing in plumbing/heating in the 1980s and served as a licensed Master Plumber in Putnam for several years until relocating to Ulster county in 2010. John is very customer service oriented, a talented mechanic, a skilled technician and insists on quality. He is also good-natured and honest so he'll give it to you straight. No nonsense.
